What will happen in the day?
New for the autumn term 2011.
As ever we teach history by looking at artefacts, both reconstructed and original.
We look at piracy through time, but concentrate on the 1650-1720 period when piracy was at its height.
A great opportunity to get the children to come to school in costume.

How piracy developed.
Slavery.
Life on board ship.
Terms and sayings.
Pirates in books and films.
Games.
Navigation, treasure and maps.
More swords and weapons than can easily be carried.
